Today's been a pretty productive day from a getting-my-bike-back perspective! Turns out that I'm going to be doing all the work myself (which is actually pretty awesome considering I'll get to learn more about it) and getting things done on my own time.
Aside from all that, looks like I'll have to wait for the supposed "raise" that my boss has been dangling in front of me for the past month or so now..... Not cool, but there's also not a whole lot that can be done about it till he's actually going to sit down and discuss it =/ but whatever right? Work's been pretty lame lately anyways.
Now... I'm not much of a Halo guy these days, but the guys over at Bungie fucking NAILED this video. Its live action and pretty much the best advertizing they could have done for this new game (Halo 3: ODST). Check it out!

Return of the Bad Luck
Well, here I am again....hanging out at MottCC wasting my time between classes. Been a while since I've posted anything here and that's ok....heard no outcry for new writing so I figured fuck it.
Bike got wrecked, that one in the pics further down the page. Been about 3 weeks since I took it into the shop and JUST NOW get the crash estimate in. Basically spent bout 2 of those weeks waiting around for two different companies to blame each other over who's not doing their job. Seems simple enough, faxing a sheet of paper, but apparently I'm wrong? Anyways, its on its way....along with my future in racing!
String of events in the past few weeks have gone from bad to worse, but why ruin all the good material now, right?

HOLY SHIT
So I'm pretty eff'ing pumped. FINALLY got that bike in yesterday and sweet flippin jebus does it purr.... Unfortunately, I cant ride it yet.... No official license, just a permit, but in time I'll be one of those assholes zippin' by you on the highway doin wheelies like I'm late for a luncheon with Death.
Yesterday was one of the buisest days at the bakery that I've ever come to see. Over $2,000 in non-ordered sales (WOW), and just a little bit above a 13 hour shift 0_O. The money is totally worth it though...nice little bonus cash to spend on some sick gear. I doubt anybody besides myself and the customers know what a "hunny bunny" is, but its a bread thingy that we make there. Basically, they're a collection of different sized rolls all lumped together in the shape of a small doughy creature. No big deal right? Usually, no, but when we have to do somewhere in the ballpark of about.... 100 of them.... its a HUGE pain in the ass. Thats about all of my jargon about work. Pretty easy stuff regardless of a few hiccups like the bunnies.

Teachers apparently don't like to teach
Three times this week I've driven to class, sat around for 45 minutes, and then realized that the professor isn't showing up =/ It's not like I'm missing an email or notification, they just straight up aren't coming to class. Usually this wouldn't be a big deal; no class? GREAT! But its getting to be kinda frustrating when I have to drive out for nothing.
Enough about that though. The whole situation with my bike is getting to be a lil bit frustrating-er. It's been 3 days since I ordered it and its still not in. Weather being understood and all, the roads haven't been that bad. Oh well though, if its not here later I'm going to cancel the deal and get it somewhere else...... Patience is not quite my virtue.

Welcome to the Karma Zone
So it was a good night last night when MSU found themselves in the championship game. I'm really not much of a bball fan but when it comes to something that everybody's gonna be all-up-on's.....not much of a reason I wouldn't want to watch. Not to mention the party! Speaking of partying, tryin to cut back on doing all that stuff so that I can better stick to this diet/workout/thing that I've been trying to keep up on.....which is way harder than I originally thought. Getting down to the swim weight that I was at is starting to seem nearly impossible without the water involved. Whatev's though, gotta get back in shape! Not the round shape anymore.
People's circle of friends always amaze me. It seems that when you meet somebody new? Chances are that they'll end up knowing at least one other person that you've met at one point in time, or one of your best friends. Kinda random but interesting nonetheless.
Just BOUGHT A FREAKIN' STREETBIKE yesterday! Probably one of the best decisions I've made in a long, long time. Its an average size bike, Ninja 650R.....brand spankin' new and straight from the factory.....I can now officially kill myself at 165mph =) Here's a pic!

I know that I'm pretty much replacing the things that I want with the things that I need, but fuck it, its a streetbike. Speaks for itself.

Such a busy effing life....
BEST ALBUM EVER!!!! Mastodon - Crack the Skye

Basically these last few days....weeks, whatever, have been super busy. If its not something along the lines of doing lots and lots of studying, working, or sleeping (because I do that now) then I'm most likely working out. BUT I'm back.
Finally starting to get my life on track....only problem is that means that I'm becoming more "responsible" and that kinda sucks as I've begun to learn. No new car, no new house, no new anything....just waitin' around for some money to start rolling my way and then maybe those things can happen. Little did I know, but when someone tells you that something is within your reach, most times its just so close that you can taste it, but thats all. Torture really, but survivable with a something to distract yourself with.
The big question that I've been lucky enough to be asked lately is, "So hows the love life?!?!?!?!" (exclamation and question marks are no exaggeration) and I have none, so I feel kinda like a loser telling everybody that "nope, is nothing happening," and "yeah, it sucks but I'm too busy," but not much I can do about the truth, right? Bummer....
School next year is under question. There are lots and lots of perks to taking a year off, and most of them are worth it just by themselves! MUCH more cashflow, more time to do what I want with my freetime, more opportunities to meet up with friends.....oh and the big one.....LESS STRESS! wooohooo. That'd be awesome. Only problem is that there's that whole thing about health insurance not covering me quite as cheaply, getting set back a lil bit with the graduation thing, but who cares right? Better positives than negatives, I'm sure.
